About Us

Welcome to Country Bumpkin Farm Market, where farm meets fun!  Established in 1997, our farm is family owned & operated with our main goal being to offer our customers fresh berries, fruits, and vegetables that we pick fresh daily.  Customers driving out to our market can enjoy that “just picked” garden flavor and aroma.   Most important, our production methods include both sustainable and some organic practices.  Also important to us, we grow many varieties so that we have “whatever the customer wants.”

Every month is different at Country Bumpkin Farm Market!   Starting with asparagus, early tomatoes and cucumbers in late April and May, we decided, years ago, to expand into growing flowers.  We now arrange and care for over 1,000 flower pots and flower baskets every Spring  in our own greenhouses.  We also recycle many fancy flower baskets and pots by replanting them every year for our repeat customers!

Summertime, we move into the frenzy of June’s U-pick & We-pick strawberry season!  July, August, and September are the height of the season for raspberries & blueberries (both We-pick and U-pick), tomatoes, sweet corn, watermelons, muskmelons, and LOTS of other goodies!

By offering U-pick and We-pick for all our varieties of berries,  families can enjoy the rewarding activity of harvesting produce together, and additionally, connect with farm life and nature!  It is our new goal to provide your family with lots of wholesome family fun, along with great things to eat!

So far we have added the Lil’ Bumpkin Play Village and Petting Farm which continues to be a fun work in progress.  We offer a pedal tractor corral, pedal kart raceway for the bigger kids, and a kid-size zipline within the village area.  And we had worked on new activities for older kids and adults during our 2015 season.  Now we have been working on new activities for the younger kids for our current 2023 season, plus we are adding more animals, both adults and babies, to our petting farm.  They are all the sweetest !!!

Fall decorating completes Country Bumpkin’s busy growing season along with giving hay wagon rides around the farm!  Plus there is always something new for the family to enjoy!  Actually, most of our activities are available in the summer too! We want to add a new fun family activity every year, and do most of our planning and building during our down time in the winter.  We’ve got lots of great ideas!
